They were running out of ideas to keep you occupied. You can thank the Dashing Major for the library assignment.
And you'll have to see what Xmas brings. I have some neat ideas for presents and may add the rocket-launcher to the list.
Not to encourage you but the CO ... he thought the pig episode was hilarious. He actually likes you. Well .. who wouldn't. But he has to do his job. Go easy on him.
He's glad you're not a real recruit though. He loves your spirit but it doesn't fit with army. And he'd have to break that which would be a real shame. His words. Had some nice things to say about your effect on the squaddies too.
Bit dull here by comparison. The slimy little **** is still proving elusive. Too many people too scared to rat him out.
I've learnt one thing though. I've reached the age where night clubs are no longer fun places to hang. Too damn noisy. And the music ... repetitive bass ... not doing it for me anymore.
As for contacts and the cops. A lot of the time we're doing them a favour (favor dammit!). A lot depends on the country. Or even state back home. But the Dashing Major has had an interesting career. He can call people that make problems go away.
We're working with the cops here. They're not as straight laced as your cops. And they're very happy with what we're doing.
Not a bad country. Wish we had time to see a bit more of it. People are friendly. Well the normal people. The crooks aren't. Word is getting around and we're making them nervous. Works for me.
Oh I've put in a request at your end for them to do some close combat training with knives. So don't be surprised. Hopefully you'll never need it.
Most of our hunting is being done at night and it is screwing up my body clock. Gonna take a while to reset after this.
Oh and I got news that they are likely to release Uncle Bojo soon so I wanna get this wrapped up asap. Get back to the states and get all that sorted.
