We're having a blast here. Doing the tourist thing. But jeez my fellow countrymen stand out don't they. We've been playing spot the American. Ironic. I know.
Pops and I took in a play last night. A guy I've worked with a few times has something on at the West End. It was good. We all went out for dinner afterwards. Pops was thrilled.
He keeps telling me how happy he is with what I've done with my life. I've told him that there is other stuff. He doesn't care. He's proud of me.
I like that.
Today we did culture. Museums and ****. You know New York has some of the best museums but I've never been. After this I think I may give them a look when I'm home. Stupid that you don't visit what's on your doorstep.
We've done so much today. Went for an early dinner and then back to the hotel. Pops wanted an early night which is fair enough I guess. So I'm kicking my heels in a corner in the hotel bar.
So I caught up with a few things. And I have an update for you. On the Russian.
Seems he's having money issues. He's accused of some fraud or other and assets have been frozen. A multi agency and multi national operation by all accounts. He's been trying to liquidate what he can but he's invested heavily in the US and that's all been confiscated. Property. Everything. I don't think the ring is such a big thing though. I just think whoever he employed was a bit over enthusiastic.
Anyway he's currently hiding out at a place he has in Zurich. And he's got the message.
Strangely enough he tells me he would take Luscious Lydia back in a heartbeat. Really fell for her. Still loves her.
He wants to make things good with Lydia. He'd repair the apartment but he doesn't have the readies at the moment. I told him not to sweat it. Just make sure that his guys all get the message to leave her alone. He says he's already done that.
So I gave your sister a call to update her. And **** me she already knew. Seems she's spoken to him. Accepted his apology.

She's planning to fly out to Zurich to see him.
